Young guns, Emily McLennan (Hills International) and Zoe Field (City) have captured the 2009 Queensland Women's Foursome Championship by three shots with scores of 77, 37 - 114 on the Horton Park layout today.
The young duo, who both represented Queensland in this year's Interstate Teams Matches, combined flawlessly for most of their round, and out played their much older opponents. Pacific's Jacki Marshall and Sharee Hasson finished a further three shots back in second place, with scores of 78, 39 - 117.
