B&DLGA DISTRICT BROOCH - 2012
In conjunction with your Club Medal days, B&DLGA now give your members the opportunity to compete for a District Brooch. All affiliated players from Clubs in our District, who hold a current WGA handicap, will be eligible.
DIVISIONS FOR EVENT:
- Division 1 - Handicaps 0-22
- Division 2 - Handicaps 23-32
- Division 3 - Handicaps 33-45
Conditions will be as follows:-
ELIGIBLE SCORES:
Scores returned in Club Monthly Medal days during the month of APRIL, MAY, JUNE will be eligible: Players who return scores in Mid Week Medal rounds are ineligible to return scores in Weekend Medal Rounds.
SCORES:
The following details should be completed and forwarded to the Secretary of the B&DLGA by 30 July 2012, giving the Best Nett in each Division, and the AWCR used on the day.
WINNERS:
The winners in each Division will be determined according to the Best Nett scored against the AWCR.
TIES:
In the event of a tie at Club level, a play-off should be arranged as soon as possible on a suitable competition day. (eg The next Stroke Round or Monthly medal). The original handicap used on the day the score was returned should be used.
In the event of a tie at District level, the B&DLGA Secretary will notify the Clubs involved and the players should play another stroke round as soon as possible (Original handicap to be used). The resulting score should be returned to the Secretary.
Count backs will not be used for deciding the winners of this competition.
PRESENTATION:
The three brooches will be presented to the winners at the AGM the following year.
Please forward details as per the attached form shown below to the Secretary B&DLGA, together with a copy of the card, prior to 30th July 2012
